First 5 OC Releases Request for Proposals for the Engaged Neighborhoods Evaluation

First 5 Orange County will be selecting a professional or firm to conduct an evaluation of the Engaged Neighborhood initiative. We’re seeking evaluators that have the experience, values, and capacity to conduct the evaluation in collaboration with the program stakeholders.

La Habra Little Learners Shares Kid Builders

Families recently gathered at Our Lady of Guadalupe church in La Habra for a lively morning of Kid Builders activities, community resources, and support for young children. We were excited to host with La Habra’s Little Learners, alongside Supervisor Doug Chaffee, the La Habra Collaborative, and PNC Bank, to create an engaging and informative space for families to connect.

Kid Builders is an easy way to help your child grow in six areas: their mind, words, body, relationships, safety and health. All of these areas are important for your child to be healthy and ready to succeed in school and in life! Learning and growing is fun with activities and information from Kid Builders.

Supporting Children's Mental Health

We are pleased to share this social media toolkit to support children’s mental health.

The toolkit includes updates on the Stigma Free Campaign, new shareable messages specific to early childhood mental health, and links to two new resource guides for pregnant persons and parents of very young children. All these resources were developed through collaboration of many Orange County organizations and community members.
