Supporting Children's Mental Health

In honor of May being Mental Health Awareness Month and with Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week the second week of May, we are pleased to share this social media toolkit to support children’s mental health.

The toolkit includes updates on the Stigma Free Campaign, new shareable messages specific to early childhood mental health, and links to two new resource guides for pregnant persons and parents of very young children. All these resources were developed through collaboration of many Orange County organizations and community members.

Annual Report: How We Help Families

First 5 Orange County has unveiled its Annual Report, which documents all the ways in which we’ve helped young children and families this past fiscal year.

Child Care, TK, Preschool Guide

First 5 OC and Early Childhood OC partnered up to create a helpful guide on some places to turn when it comes to finding child care, preschool or transitional kindergarten (TK) options for your child.

What We Do

Through partnerships and strategic resource allocation, First 5 Orange County works to ensure all children reach their full potential.

Our Priorities

Whether it’s well-child visits and screenings, finding quality child care or advocating to government leaders, we look for solutions to pressing issues facing young children and families.

Our Impact

“First 5 OC gives us information, it gives us support. It helps us make sure we’re on the right track. It certainly is a group that we turn to when we need help.”
