Families with young children now have a new place to connect, learn, and find support. The Parent Resource Center has opened at the Irvine Unified School District’s Early Childhood Learning Center, offering resources and activities designed for parents and caregivers of children ages 0–5.
The center provides monthly parent education workshops, parent book clubs, help accessing community resources, and opportunities to connect with other parents. Walk-ins are welcome, and the center is open during school hours at 1 Smoketree, Irvine (Portable 6), following the ECLC year-round schedule. Families can visit eclc.iusd.org or contact alyssacurtismeza@iusd.org to learn more.
Leveraging funding from First 5 OC’s agreement with the district, ECLC created a space where families will be supported by district liaisons focusing on understanding behavior and development, accessing community resources, and connecting with other families.
