Families gathered once again at the Anaheim Sunkist Library for another engaging session of First 5 OC’s Kid Builders Story Time series, part of our ongoing partnership with Orange County Public Libraries. This story time spotlighted our Health Builder activities, bringing hands-on activities designed to help young children build healthy habits while having fun.
Little learners rotated through interactive stations focused on everyday wellness. Children practiced brushing techniques to support strong dental hygiene, got their bodies moving through music and dance, and took part in the “glitter germ” activity, a kid-friendly way to help children understand how germs spread and why handwashing matters. Parents and caregivers are a child’s first teacher, Kid Builders offers simple, practical ways to continue learning at home.
The Kid Builders Story Time Series created joyful, accessible opportunities for families to support early development through play, exploration, and connection. We’re excited by the growing enthusiasm from families and look forward to bringing Kid Builders to even more local libraries in the near future.
