First 5 Orange County and CalOptima Health are expanding the HealthySteps evidence-based model to 3 additional programs in Orange County!
Applications are being accepted now for the Dyadic Services Program Academy. The Academy and funding opportunity provides inclusion into community education sessions, and customized technical assistance for expedited model fidelity and sustainability.
Applicants should be licensed clinic sites in Orange County that see a significant number of pediatric patients, age birth through age 3, who are insured by CalOptima Health.
Preference will be given to, but is not limited to, licensed clinics that have at least 200 children ages 0-3 active in the practice, with high percentage of CalOptima Health Medi-Cal members, empaneled/active in the practice and/or practices that have at least 2,200 visits per year for children in this age group.
Over a two-year period, the HealthySteps National Office, working in partnership with First 5 OC, will deliver a formal educational and Technical Assistance program to grantees.
The goal of this program is to decrease health inequities by increasing timely well-child visits, developmental and behavioral screenings, linkage to community supports, and inclusion of parent and child- focused, or dyadic care.
Please share this information with licensed clinics in Orange County that may be interested in this great opportunity.
