Community Health Workers (CHWs) are being featured in a new StoryMap series by the Building Regional Community Health Worker Pathways Project. Called “Community Health Workers in Action,” the series will highlight the impact CHWs are making across Orange County. We are thrilled that First 5 Orange County and our partners are the first to be highlighted in the StoryMap launch.
Orange Coast College’s first graduating CHW cohort is now actively serving the community in partnership with First 5 OC and Santa Ana Early Learning Initiative (SAELI) with prenatal and postnatal care, developmental playgroups, and using the Early Developmental Index to guide families.
