The County of Orange has released the 26th Annual Report on the Conditions of Children in Orange County.
The report studies four interdependent focus areas: Good Health, Economic Well-Being, Educational Achievement and Safe Homes and Communities, with data to assess improving or worsening trends over 10 years.
The report shows that prior to the pandemic, Orange County made progress in several key indicators, including an increase in the number of women receiving early prenatal care, an increase in the percentage of infants being breastfed at the time of hospital discharge, and an increase in the percentage of children ready for kindergarten.
