The Orange County Child Care and Development Planning Council (OC LPC) in partnership with The Orange County Association for the Education of Young Children (OCAEYC) is holding “The Power of Advocacy” on Friday, March 15, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Great Wolf Lodge in Garden Grove.

During The Power of Advocacy event, the OC LPC and OCAEYC will empower early childhood educators to become influential advocates for their field. Featuring EveryChild California and local legislative representatives, this gathering aims to equip participants with Advocacy 101, a comprehensive guide to understanding and tracking legislative bills. Learn the art of connecting with local legislators and discover how your voice can shape the future of early childhood education.

Local legislative representatives will share insights on current Early Childhood legislative bills, shedding light on the pivotal role educators play in policy development. Engage in meaningful conversations, pose questions to legislative experts, and gain valuable knowledge to drive positive change in your community.
