Family Preparedness Workshop and Resource Fair

Join Supervisor Doug Chaffee and community partners for the Family Preparedness Workshop & Resource Fair on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Fullerton Free Church, North Campus (2904 N. Brea Blvd., Fullerton, CA 92835). Families can attend a preparedness workshop, connect with community organizations at the resource fair, and receive food and holiday support.

Attendees can access free legal consultations covering citizenship applications, family emergency planning (including power of attorney and caregiver’s authorization affidavits), housing and tenant rights, family law, health access including Medi-Cal and Covered California enrollment help, and workers’ rights. Food distribution will be available, along with Thanksgiving turkey vouchers (one per family, while supplies last). Carts and wagons are encouraged.

First 5 Orange County will be on site with a resource table. Stop by to learn about programs and resources that support children from birth to age 5 and their families, including Kid Builders, HealthySteps, and Learning Links.  Event is FREE to the public.
