The new school year is about to start and First 5 OC participated in three back-to-school events hosted by CalOptima, Councilmember Carlos Leon, and the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Ana. Together, these events reached over 3,500 families across Orange County. Families in attendance had access to free health screenings, food, and essential back-to-school supplies to help prepare their children for the new school year.
At each event, First 5 OC had the opportunity to engage directly with families, share information about our programs, and distribute Kid Builder resources. It was a great opportunity to connect with the community and help ensure families have the tools they need to support their children’s growth and learning.
