First 5 Orange County continues to seek consultant services to support families experiencing perinatal substance use by providing outreach, direct services, and systems-level coordination. We anticipate contracting with one additional individual who will support First 5 OC staff, with a focus on implementing Family Wellness Plans (FWPs), strengthening referral pathways, and promoting recovery and resilience for families impacted by substance use during the prenatal, delivery, and postnatal periods.
The chosen respondent must be comfortable working directly with communities and families, and demonstrate experience building strong relationships with community leaders and other key stakeholders across Orange County. Knowledge of data collection and reporting on programmatic activity will be needed to support both program implementation as well as to inform future quality improvement and investment. All respondents must have lived experience with perinatal substance use or experience supporting someone with such experience.
