…The guidance, reassurance, and even just having someone to talk to have made a world of difference, making me feel like I’m not alone and more capable of handling everything. I hugely appreciate the continued support it has been a lifeline for me during this time. I cannot believe it has been a little over a year and I can say today I am more confident than when I first started.

The Power of Home Visiting
Home Visiting is a powerful, evidence-based approach to promote family resilience and connection. Home visiting matches parents and caregivers with trained professionals who provide culturally tailored, one-on-one parenting and health care education along with connections to community resources.
More Capacity Needed
Every year, there are about 14,000 moderate to high need newborns in Orange County who could benefit from home visiting related services, and yet Orange County’s current home visiting system has the capacity to support only one in three of these families.
The capacity of the home visiting system is insufficient.
Improving Access Together
The Home Visiting Collaborative aims to fill the gaps in the system and provide equitable access to culturally responsive, integrated supports to all Orange County expectant and parenting families (up to age five). We prioritize families that will benefit most from early interventions.
