A powerful example of Margarita’s advocacy was her work with a family facing an urgent housing crisis. Recognizing the severity of their situation, Margarita took it upon herself to write a heartfelt letter to private donors on behalf of the family. Her initiative and compelling storytelling moved the donors to action, resulting in generous rental assistance that kept the family housed and safe.
