Join us at 9 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2022, as First 5 Orange County meets in person.
The meeting will be held at Orange County Transportation Authority Conference Center, 550 South Main Street, Orange, CA. Members of the public can listen to live audio streaming of the meeting via phone or Zoom.
At the December meeting, the Board will hear a presentation on the Home Visiting Countywide Collaboration, which supports a child’s development and the child’s family throughout the critical first years of life.
The Board will conduct a public hearing on its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report to be submitted to First 5 California and the State Controller’s Office, discuss next steps for its Technical Advisory Committee, and set its meeting schedule for 2023. Staff will share progress that is being made toward the First 5 OC Strategic Plan through Action Plans, and provide updates on the Doula Benefit and the Homeless Prevention Funding Initiative.

Public Comments:
Members of the public may address the Board regarding any item in one of two ways:
Spoken Comment. General public comments will be addressed during the general public comment item on the agenda. For specific agenda items, speakers will be recognized by the Commission Chair at the time the agenda item is to be considered. A speaker’s comments shall be limited to three minutes. Anyone causing disruption can be removed from the meeting at the discretion of the Chair.
Written Comment. First 5 Orange County is also accepting public comments to be submitted by emailing them to First5OC@cfcoc.ocgov.com. The comments will be distributed to all of the Board members and read into the record. If you wish to comment on a specific agenda item, please identify the item in your email.
Public comments will be made available to the public upon request.
