The Orange County Board of Supervisors is seeking applications from qualified candidates to serve on the First 5 Orange County Children and Families Commission.
Recruitment is being conducted for three seats on the nine-member board; two are in the health category and one is in the education category.
Commissioners will help advance First 5 OC’s Strategic Plan and support our goals of connecting and enhancing the systems of care to improve outcomes for young children and their families.
Commission members are appointed by the Orange County Board of Supervisors. Commissioners serve a two-year term, meet six times per year, serve on ad-hoc committees, and represent First 5 Orange County at community events. The recruitment is open to new applicants and current members.
