Each year, the Spirit of Volunteerism Awards brings together nonprofits, businesses, and community members to celebrate individuals who go above and beyond in service to Orange County. Hosted by OneOC, the event honors volunteers whose dedication, compassion, and leadership help strengthen our community.
In 2026, OneOC marked a major milestone—50 years of recognizing the region’s most dedicated volunteers. The 50th Anniversary celebration highlighted the lasting impact of service and the individuals who continue to make a difference across Orange County.
First 5 OC is proud to share that Sara Brown, Vice President of Health Systems and Family Resilience, and Yvette Nuñez, Program Officer, were honored at this year’s event. They were recognized on behalf of the Community Action Partnership of Orange County Diaper Bank, reflecting the Health Systems team’s strong partnership and ongoing commitment to supporting families in need.
