During our Stronger Starts Statewide Day of Action event, First 5 OC staff shared personal reflections on how they navigate stress and support wellness within their own families.
Cristina Muñoz said, “For my child, it would have to be keeping consistent routines. Life gets busy, so a lot of connecting by reading, and doing the same morning and night routines every day.”
When asked about advice for parents coping with stress, Cristina shared, “Take that breather, sit in your car before you step out to go into your home and take that moment for yourself. Always know that you’re doing the best that you can.”
