Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, live in the home, and obtain criminal record clearances for everyone over 18 living or working in the home. A TB test and 16 hours of Pediatric Health & Safety training (Preventive Health Practices, Pediatric CPR, Pediatric First Aid) are required. Large Family Child Care applicants must show one year of qualifying experience (as a Small FCC licensee or as a teacher/director in a licensed center). FCC services may be offered in either rented or owned homes or apartments.
